Ginseng, the root and rhizome of Panax ginseng C A Meyer is a member of the family Arialaceae and has been used as a tonic remedy in Chinese traditional medicine for over 2000 years. The word Panax is derived from panacea, which means cure-all and longevity. In 200 AD when this herb was described in the oldest Chinese materia medica book: Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing, the author depicted many pharmacological functions of ginseng, including both nootropic and anti-aging effects. Since then, ginseng has been widely used as a supplemental tonic.

Red ginseng
The roots are been selected, cleaned and steamed in conditions of pressure of 2 atm, at a temperature 80-90 0C for 1-2 hr and than dried in condition of temperature  60-70 0C for 6-7 hr or in condition of temperature 50-600C for 8-10 hr. After this process the roots are transculent,  aromatic, sweet and mild bitter and have a red colour.

Korean ginseng roots are graded into three main categories: 1. Heaven grade, 2. Earth grade, and 3. Man grade. Heaven grade is the highest grade.

Fish oils, also known as marine oils, are lipids found in fish, particularly cold water fish, and other marine life such as phytoplankton. These oils are rich sources of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LCPUFA) of the n-3 (omega-3) type. The two most studied fish oils are the 20 carbon eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA; C20:5n-3) and the 22-carbon docosahexaenoic acid (DHA; C22:6n-3). EPA contains five double bonds and DHA, six double bonds. These double bonds are all in the cis configuration.
